I initially purchased this metal fidget slider solely because I was drawn to its appearance and design. Adorned with an Ace of Spades from a deck of playing cards on both sides, it resembles a lighter. Constructed from two solid blocks of metal that magnetically connect, it’s incredibly addictive to use. It has a satisfying weight and feels great in hand, especially when you flip the slider, producing a clicking sound as the internal magnets engage and disengage. I’ve been using it at my desk at home, which aids my thinking and gives my hands something to do while I watch Netflix. I’m genuinely hooked and felt panicked when I couldn’t find it; my wife even hid it because she was annoyed by the noise. However, at £13, it’s rather pricey, and I’ve seen cheaper alternatives. Additionally, the mesh covering the magnets inside can wear out and peel with frequent use, but it doesn’t impact performance.

I like using this type of fidget to help with my anxiety, I have another one that I bought from Etsy which cost me around £50, which has stronger magnets and different ways to slide it and use it. This one is quite loud, so not something you’d like to use in an office, or around people for a long period of time unless you want them taking it off of you and binning it, it is solid metal so feels quite good in the hand, but I find when using it one-handed, sometimes it clicks out of place and the two pieces fall apart quite easily, usually on one side more than the other.
I’ve been using it on and off for a couple of days now, and it hasn’t fallen apart or become harder to use, but I would probably opt for something a bit more expensive to get better quality.
I am part of the Amazon Vine program, so received this product for free, however I only choose items that I could see myself getting use out of. My reviews are unbiased, and have no incentive to leave positive reviews, indeed I have left quite a few brutal ones.
Would I buy? Yes
