The kids really enjoy it. Though all the components feel quite flimsy and low-quality, it was an inexpensive item, so I won’t complain. It’s still entertaining for the younger ones.

I’ve bought this robot twice now. My grandchildren adore them so much that they have one at home and another at their grandma’s. This cute robot spins, slides, plays music, and has flashing lights. It’s very easy for little hands to operate. My kids, who are all 18 months and older, can play with it effortlessly. Given how much enjoyment they get from it, the price is fantastic.

The robot toy is quite entertaining and particularly appealing to younger children. It features a button on the back that allows users to record short messages by holding it down, which can then be played back with a quick press. The remote controls the robot’s movements effectively, enabling it to rotate and turn left or right on the spot, making it easy for small kids to maneuver.
In the center of the remote, there are four unlabeled buttons. The first changes the robot’s eye color, and the second activates a ‘demo’ mode where the robot moves around in different directions. The third button remains a mystery to me, as I haven’t figured out its function. The manual refers to it as a Music/Voice Switch, but I haven’t noticed any changes in music or sounds; however, the robot beeps when it’s pressed, interrupting any current tune. The fourth button plays music, cycling through three tunes one at a time when pressed.
It would be helpful if the buttons were labeled or had symbols to clarify their functions.

My Overall Sentiment
The KaeKid Robot is a charming and entertaining toy for young children. The combination of remote control, gesture controls, and music adds to the fun. However, it may have trouble on certain surfaces and might not keep the interest of older kids for long.

Kids love it. All the parts are super flimsy and cheap, but it was a cheap product so will not moan. Still fun for the littler ones.

The KaeKid Robot Toy is a very cute looking remote control toy.
The robot is quite basic in its abilities and it can only really go back, forwards, left, right or spin. It is basically the same in actions as RC cars we have had except of course it doesn’t flip. This doesn’t mean that it’s not fun though as we’ve really enjoyed learning to control this cute robot.
The robot looks fun and it has light up eyes and a nice beeping sound it makes that gives it more of a robot feel to the toy. The control requires two AA batteries but once these are in it is easy to control for young children with only a few buttons. There is also the option to control it by gesture which takes a bit of getting used to but it works well.
The music on the robot is very loud and not the kind of music you want playing around the house as it’s annoying and childish sounding music. I know this is a child toy so it’s to be expected but I mean not the good sounding child music! It can be turned off though thankfully so we can enjoy the robot without all the noise.
This is quite a basic robot but for young children it’s lots of fun. For older children I think they’d get bored of it quickly. We have loved this toy so far though.

This is quite a fun entertaining robot/rc car for young children, I’d say age 6 and below. My son is 6, almost 7, and he did find it quite fun for a while, and sometimes picks it up to play with on short bursts, but is more interested in his Lego figures.
For what I consider an RC car, it’s got a unique design, and the controls work pretty well – you can move in the usual directions, but can also rotate on the spot. Hand gestures were a bit confusing and only worked half of the time, but it’s an interesting “feature” nonetheless, but we all stuck with using the remote control.
It is quite nippy and can zoom around the floor pretty quickly – it’s lightweight so it shouldn’t cause injuries for those over 4 years old, but be careful when playing around younger children.
It has some interesting music built in which sound like they came from a 90’s kid piano both in style and audio quality!
If you get a few of these, you can have fun robot battles!
