My son was thrilled when I purchased this costume for him since he had seen others in similar outfits and was eager to have one. It looks fantastic and fits perfectly. I’m impressed with the quality. I’m also glad I bought it well in advance of Halloween to avoid potential price increases. Although we haven’t had any events to wear it to yet, he’s been wearing it around the house for now! He’s excited to wear it on Halloween.

When this costume arrives, it comes in a surprisingly small box compared to the finished product. Keep in mind that it’s inflatable, so it’s naturally compacted for shipping! To achieve the full effect, you need a child of the right size. My 4-year-old granddaughter was too small for it, leading to some areas not sealing properly and air escaping. The ankle and wrist sections are elasticized to help retain air, while the neck has a toggle that you can open wide for putting the costume on and then tighten after getting your head through. There’s a full-length zipper at the back. My other granddaughter, who is 6, was also slightly too short, so my eldest grandchild at 10 managed to fit into it, but it was a bit snug and he complained about the hood being tight around his face. It seems that around 8 years old might be the ideal fit, but it will depend on the child’s height and build.
The costume is made of very thin material, so it’s not suitable for rough play, but it’s fine for trick-or-treating or casual wear. It comes with a fan and a battery pack, requiring 4 AA batteries, though I think it could also connect to a power bank. Once the costume is on, attach the power pack, turn it on, and zip up the back to start inflating. If you have a child who fits it well, it looks quite good, and I would recommend it. However, it seems to be quite age-specific, so you’ll likely only get one Halloween out of it before your child outgrows it the following year.

When this costume arrives, it comes in a comparatively small box considering what the overall finished product looks like. However, you should bear in mind that it’s an inflatable so of course it will arrive compacted!
You do need the perfectly sized child for this to fit properly to get the full effect. My granddaughter who is 4 was way too small for it so it didn’t form an airtight seal in places and air escaped. The ankle and wrist sections are elasticated (so as not to let the air out!) the neck section is on a toggle so you open this wide when putting the costume on, then tighten once your head is through the hole. There is a full length zip at the back. My other granddaughter who is six was alsoa bit too short so my eldest grandchild at 10 managed to get into it, but it was a little snug to be honest and he complained about the hood being tight around his face. It seems to me the sweet spot would be about an eight year-old, but even then it will depend on how big or tall they are for their age?
The costume is a very thin material, so will not stand up to robust play but will be fine for trick-or-treating or simply walking about. It comes supplied with a fan and a battery pack. You will need to insert 4 x AA batteries, although I do think it would connect to a power bank?
Once the costume is on, attach the power pack, switch that on and zip up the back of the costume and it starts to inflate. If you have the perfectly sized child for this, then it does look rather good and I can still recommend it however, it seems to me to be such an age specific item that you’ll probably just get one Halloween out of it and the next year when you come back to it your child will probably have outgrown it.

My son loves it, and it’s quite amusing to see him in it—definitely worth the price!

My son was so happy when I bought him this costume as he’d seen others wearing similar and was desperate to get one. It looks great and fits well. Impressed with quality. Glad I bought it well before Halloween in case prices go up. We had no occasions to wear it to so he’s just worn it round the house for now! He can’t wait to wear it at Halloween.
