This is my first time collecting Pokémon cards since the ‘Sun and Moon’ era. I chose this set because it has fewer cards, making it more manageable and easier to find at a reasonable price. However, fewer cards also mean tougher pull rates; I bought four of these tins and only got two EXs or better. Nonetheless, there’s nothing wrong with the product itself.

I purchased two of the five packs and found the packaging to be quite good, so I opted to buy another to keep sealed since I enjoy having the full arts. Unfortunately, I didn’t hit any mega pulls, but that’s just the nature of the Shrouded Fable pull rates. This set is truly underrated and will likely gain appreciation over time—featuring excellent artwork, a cohesive theme, and some solid playable cards.

These tins offer great value compared to investing in boxes or bundles. In my view, Shrouded Fable isn’t the best set, but the Houndoom is definitely worth pursuing, along with a few decent illustrations like Kingdra.

Even though we didn’t score any significant hits, the artwork on the shrouded fables cards is quite lovely. The price was also fair.
