My almost 3-year-old absolutely loves this game. It doesn’t require much skill; it’s mostly based on luck with a simple dice roll. The main idea is to move around the board collecting pieces of straw, sticks, and bricks. You need to gather two of each material to construct the corresponding 3D houses. Once you’ve built all three houses, you race to the center. To add some excitement, you can land on a wolf icon, which allows you to blow down other players’ stick and straw houses. The game is well made, and we’ve played it many times. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a fantastic little game and likely my favorite from Orchard. It’s easy to play for kids aged 3 and up. The only minor drawback is that after several uses, some of the little houses are beginning to show signs of wear.

This is our second purchase from Orchard Toys – the first was the Shopping List game, which my now 3.5-year-old absolutely loved. We got this game and the Ladybird game for her Christmas, as a new shopping list game was at the top of her Santa list! It’s safe to say this game is just as enjoyable as the Shopping Game. Even my 10 and 8-year-old sons join in, likely because players can take pieces from one another! It’s easy to set up, and the ability to take pieces keeps everyone engaged until the end. The game doesn’t take too long to play, but we often have requests to play it multiple times. This is definitely a worthwhile purchase. The 3D aspect is great too – my little one can easily assemble the houses, and they’re very sturdy, standing up well to wear and tear. Highly recommended!
