The wires and connectors are small and a bit tricky, but they’re designed specifically for the model, making it worthwhile. The instructions are available on YouTube and are straightforward; you can easily pause the video for convenience. I watched it beforehand, which allowed me to hide the wires better since I left some parts off, knowing I could add them later. This project isn’t suitable for kids, but the model (kingfisher) is rated for ages 18 and up anyway. The lighting effect is impressive, and the option to use USB, mains, or a battery pack (3xAAA, not included) offers great flexibility for displaying the model.
