I love these, they are so fun to build! They are worth the money a lot more than minifigures and are fun to collect! I love how they have not just the f1 teams but also an f1 academy car! All the cars look so great and you get some spare parts incase you lose any.

  2. Mike H

I bought one of these LEGO F1 collectible cars for my 4-year-old (and, let’s be honest, for me too—I’m a bit of an F1 nut and slowly trying to pass that on). He’s already into LEGO, so this was an easy win. It came in a little box, not a blind bag like some other sets, and was really simple to put together. He “helped” me build it, which mostly meant passing pieces and taking credit at the end—but that’s part of the fun.

The car looks great once it’s built—nice detail for something so small—and the moving wheels mean it’s more than just a display piece. It’s had plenty of laps around our living room already.

Only small downside is you can’t choose which car you get. It’s a mystery box setup, and while I get the appeal of the surprise, it would’ve been nice to pick a specific team. That said, it didn’t stop us enjoying it, and I could definitely see us getting another one (or three) down the line.

All in all, a fun little build that hits the spot for both LEGO fans and future F1 fans alike.

My 6-year-old absolutely loves these LEGO F1 mystery cars. They’re the perfect mix of fun to build and fun to play with, especially when we’re out and about. I always keep one in my bag for cafés, waiting rooms, or anywhere small hands get restless — they’re small enough to build on a tray table, and the pieces stay together surprisingly well once assembled.

Each mystery box comes with one mini Formula 1 car from a real team like Ferrari, Mercedes, McLaren or Red Bull, plus a driver with a helmet and moving wheels. Great detail in a tiny package.

The only downside is the mystery element — it’s exciting the first few times, but once you start getting duplicates, the mood shifts fast (and loudly). Still, for the fun factor and portability, they’re worth it.

    Pros:
✅ Fun, quick builds — perfect for travel or restaurants

✅ Real F1 teams with great mini details

✅ Moving wheels and little drivers = instant hit

✅ Small enough to carry anywhere

    Cons:

    ❌ Duplicates can cause drama

❌ Some small pieces — younger kids might need a hand with the tricky bits

    Final Thoughts:
They’re affordable, easy to pop in a bag, and make a brilliant distraction when you need 10 quiet minutes. My 6-year-old is obsessed — and I have to admit, I kind of get it.

  4. Bigtronny

Fun little item so easy to put together. Typical Lego quality and for the price it’s decent value given its collectible to an extent. Although you aren’t guaranteed which car you actually receive I got the one I was hoping for for my son who is 30 but F1 and Aston Martin crazy.
