How to Use the Imagimake DIY Magnetic Dress-Up Princess Studio — Beginner’s Guide
What’s in the Box
- 1 Dress-Up Studio (magnetic play board)
- 10 magnetic dresses
- 20 magnetic accessories (hats, shoes, crowns, etc.)
- 1 bonus magnetic doll
- 700+ shiny stickers and sparkling stones
- Product model: MG01
Quick Setup
- Open the box and remove all pieces. Lay them out on a clean, flat surface so you can see every item.
- Unfold or place the magnetic play board where your child will play. Ensure the surface is dry and free of dust.
- Choose the bonus magnetic doll and place it on the studio’s magnetic area to check magnet attraction.
- Sort dresses and accessories by type or color if you want an organized start (optional).
How to Dress the Magnetic Doll
- Select a dress and align it over the doll. The magnet should snap into place — if it doesn’t, flip the piece and try the other side or reposition slightly.
- Add accessories (crowns, shoes, belts) by placing them where you want them on the doll or next to the dress.
- Use the shiny stickers and sparkling stones to decorate outfits, hair, or the studio background. Press stickers firmly to help them adhere.
- To change the look, gently peel off the magnet pieces and swap dresses/accessories to create new combinations.
Travel and On-the-Go Use
- The studio is lightweight and mess-free—perfect for plane or car trips. Keep small pieces in a resealable bag or compact container to avoid loss.
- Place the board and pieces in a small travel pouch or the original box for easy transport.
- Use the kit on a lap tray, airplane tray table, or a flat car seat surface to keep pieces secure.
Cleaning and Care
- Wipe the play board and magnetic pieces with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Do not soak or submerge (material is paper-based).
- Avoid exposure to water, heat, or direct sunlight for long periods to prevent warping or fading.
- Store stickers in their original backing sheet or a small envelope so they stay sticky and don’t get lost.
- Flatten any slightly bent paper pieces by placing them under a heavy book for a day.
Safety Notes
- Recommended for ages 3 and up.
- Contains small parts and magnets. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to choking hazard.
- If a magnet or small part is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately. Multiple magnets swallowed can cause serious injury.
- Adult supervision is recommended for younger children (ages 3–4) while using small accessories and stickers.
Troubleshooting
- Magnet won’t stick: Clean the board surface and the magnet with a dry cloth and try again. Make sure the magnet is placed on the correct area of the board.
- Stickers not sticking well: Ensure the surface is clean and dry, press stickers firmly, or warm the sticker briefly in your hands to increase tackiness.
- Lost pieces: Check under cushions and travel bags; store pieces in a labeled resealable bag for travel.
Creative Play Ideas
- Create a fashion show: Design 3–5 outfits and let the child present each look with a story or pose.
- Color-and-pattern hunt: Ask your child to make an outfit using only a chosen color or pattern to build recognition skills.
- Design challenge: Set a timer for a few minutes and see how many different looks can be made before time runs out.
- Storytelling: Use the doll to act out short stories to boost imagination and language skills.
