Great assortment of cards; the kids are thrilled to expand their collection.

Ideal for those new to Pokémon card collecting. It came with an excellent mix of cards, all unique. There’s a nice variety, and the price is fantastic. I will definitely purchase again soon.

Great variety, but be aware that there are quite a few duplicates!

This is an excellent set of cards! If you’re not focused on collecting a specific Pokémon, this selection is fantastic. We only received one duplicate, which was a pleasant surprise, and my son is absolutely thrilled. We got 6 energy cards, 7 shiny cards, 10 trainers (including 1 shiny), and 12 stage one Pokémon.
I expected to see more duplicates, but we plan to purchase from this seller again, knowing that not every set will be perfect. Still, it’s definitely worth it for building a collection to enjoy the game. If these cards are indeed authentic (I’m new to this and unsure what to look for), any duplicates can be traded, which is a nice bonus.
Currently on my fourth order, and while duplicates are more common now, I have plenty for collecting, playing, and trading. The seller seems legitimate; I’ve checked the Pokémon website, Wargamer, and Titan Cards, and I have no concerns. However, I’ve learned that if you’re looking for specific cards or a specific collection, this might not be the best option since it includes a wide range from 2019 to 2022.
Edit – Disclaimer: There are a few cards from other sellers in my collection, but 7th City Collectables offers the best variety for the price. Out of the 1700 cards I’ve purchased, 797 span from 2019 to 2022, and I even have 10 from the latest 2023 Crown Zenith release.
Yes, the more you buy, the higher the chances of duplicates or multiple of the same Pokémon, but depending on your purpose, this isn’t a major issue. I can collect one of each in my poke-box and showcase any rare cards in my portfolio (I can even display some of these rares in all three categories, which is great for gameplay), while the duplicates can go into a trading or playing box.
For me, this seller is the best option for buying Pokémon cards, especially if you’re not specifically looking for certain sets since Pokémon has moved on to newer releases. It’s also a more budget-friendly way to get into the hobby compared to purchasing brand new boxes without knowing their value. (For reference, a pack of 10 original packaged cards includes 1 energy, 1 rare, and 2 trainers, with the rest being common or uncommon Pokémon, costing between £4 and £5.)
This experience has provided a solid foundation for getting into the hobby properly with the upcoming Scarlet and Violet releases, ensuring the best financial value. (I’ve also bought 100 energy cards from this seller for the best price to play the card game, as these are essential.)
