Review of Spin Master Games Perplexus Rebel
The Spin Master Games Perplexus Rebel is a fantastic 3D maze game that has quickly become a favorite in our household. With its 70 challenging obstacles, it provides a perfect blend of fun and difficulty that keeps players engaged for hours.
Pros:
- Challenging Gameplay: The game offers a great balance of challenge and entertainment. The obstacles, such as the igloo and terrible tube, require concentration and patience, making each attempt to complete the maze feel rewarding.
- Family-Friendly: It’s suitable for a wide age range, from kids to adults. Family members have enjoyed competing against one another, which promotes bonding and engagement away from screens.
- Skill Development: It helps improve hand-eye coordination and spatial reasoning. Watching younger players develop these skills is a bonus for parents.
- Durable Design: The quality of the construction is impressive. Despite being dropped and handled by kids, it has remained intact and functional.
- Addictive Fun: Once you start playing, it’s hard to put down. Many players find themselves going back for more, trying to beat their previous times.
Cons:
- Can Be Frustrating: While the challenge is part of the fun, some players may find it frustrating, especially if they struggle to complete it.
- Difficulty Variation: For some older teenagers and adults, it may not be challenging enough after a few attempts, leading to a quicker sense of completion.
Overall, the Perplexus Rebel is an amazing toy that combines fun, challenge, and skill-building. It has become a staple in our home, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and engaging game that can be enjoyed by the whole family!

I purchased this for my 9-year-old son on a whim, and he absolutely loved it. He played with it extensively and eventually finished it. While it’s not easy and can be somewhat frustrating at times, it’s an excellent toy that demands focus, patience, and perseverance, qualities that many toys and games lack these days. I would definitely recommend it.

I purchased this a few months back and started working through the course. It appears straightforward, yet… I can’t stop trying again and again: dropping off, restarting, bringing it to work only to have my colleagues hijack it, taking weeks to complete, and still never reaching the goal in one go. I challenge you to do better! It’s fantastic. I’m not bored (and I tend to have a wandering mind). I bought the next two balls, but honestly, they’re way too difficult for me. I continue to use this as my go-to stress reliever. It’s addictive, and I’m happy I made the purchase.

Really great toy for the whole family. I’ve spent a week trying to do it and still haven’t managed it. My 13 year old found a way to cheat.

Wasn’t very challenging for my 13, 19 or 21 yr old. They all completed it in no time. Was fun for a while and took them off their computers for a little bit, made them engage with each other. They may pick it up and do again if needing a break from Uni work. It is fairly large.

Bought for my 9 year old son on a whim. He loved it, has played with it a lot and did eventually complete it.
It isn’t easy and can be a bit frustrating at time but is a great toy, requires concentration, patience and perseverance the likes of which not many toys or games seem to anymore.
Would recommend.

I chose this for my son for his 7th birthday because I was looking for some indoor toys and it can be difficult to find something that holds his attention. He enjoyed playing with it, as did the rest of our family. It is very addictive and challenging enough that you can’t easily complete it without many attempts (or maybe that’s just me, I can’t get passed level 62). It is quite expensive for a puzzle and it’s also bigger than I expected, but it has been worth it. I will likely purchase the harder ones when my son is a bit older, or possibly sooner for myself.

It wasn’t particularly challenging for my 13, 19, or 21-year-old. They finished it quickly. It was enjoyable for a while and got them to step away from their computers and interact with one another. They might revisit it if they need a break from their university studies. It’s quite large, too.

I bought this a few months ago; I went about tackling the course, it seems so simple and yet…but I can’t help try, try, try again: dropping off, starting again, taking it to work and getting it highjacked by collegues, taking weeks to get it done and still I’m never getting to the goal in one go. I dare you to do it better! It’s brilliant. I’m not bored (and I have a butterfly mind) I bought the nxt two balls but truly they are too darn hard for me and I keep on using this as my go to stress reducer. It’s addictive and I’m glad I bought it.
