Als Kind habe ich dem Megazord mit großen Augen hinterhergefiebert — und jetzt, Jahre später, hält mich dieses Re-Ignition Triceratops-Monstrum kurz davor, wieder meine Stirnlampe aufzusetzen und in den Garten zu patrouillieren. Kurz: Nostalgie trifft auf handfeste Qualität, und das Ergebnis ist ein lautes, glückliches RAWR.
Die Verarbeitung ist echt beeindruckend. Dieser Megazord fühlt sich nicht wie ein Wegwerf-Souvenir an, sondern wie etwas, das man getrost auf dem Regal ausstellen kann — und trotzdem damit durch die Wohnung stompfen würde, wenn das Kind (oder das innere Kind) ruft. Die Gelenke sind stabil, die Details sauber ausgeführt und die Proportionen haben diesen „groß und majestätisch“-Vibe, den das Original aus den 90ern zwar versprach, hier aber konsequent liefert. Und ja: Er ist größer als das Original — was für mich persönlich ein riesiges Plus ist. Mehr Megazord = mehr Präsenz = mehr epische Schlachten vorm Sofa.
Ich habe das Teil für meine Kinder gekauft; sie bekommen es später als Geschenk — aber ich gestehe: Ich war beim Auspacken fast versucht, eine kleine Initiationszeremonie abzuhalten. Glücklicherweise haben wir uns zusammen gerissen (meistens) und stattdessen nur liebevoll die Teile zusammengesteckt. Die Kinder stehen total auf die Serie und eifern den Rangers bereits nach — das Geschenk dürfte also genau den richtigen Nerv treffen.
Spielwert? Hoch. Display-Wert? Ebenfalls hoch. Der Megazord ist robust genug fürs wilde Spielen, sieht aber gleichzeitig so gut aus, dass er nach Kämpfen und Abenteuern wieder ins Regal darf, ohne dabei albern zu wirken. Für Eltern bedeutet das: Spaß für die Kids, und nicht gleich der nervige Kasten unterm Sofa, der nach einer Woche auseinanderfällt.
Kleines Bonuslevel: Wer — so wie ich — damals der Mega Tommy Fan, wird bei der Aussicht auf mehr Re-Ignition-Figuren (vor allem Tommy und seine Megazords) innerlich applaudieren. Bitte mehr davon. Ernsthaft: Wenn die nächsten Releases ähnlich sorgfältig gemacht sind, dann ist das Kinderzimmer bald offizieller Ranger-Stützpunkt.
Fazit: Ein liebevoll gemachtes, großes und langlebiges Re-Release, das Nostalgiker glücklich macht und Kindern echte Spielabenteuer schenkt. Kaufempfehlung? Absolut – hier schlagen Kinderherzen höher und Kinder und ihre Eltern dürfen sich wieder wie echte Ranger fühlen.
