I had a fantastic time with this during December. The variety of puzzles, from pattern recognition to hands-on construction, kept things interesting, and several made me reconsider previous days from a new angle. The storyline, centered around exploring film sets, was captivating and effectively connected the different puzzles. My only drawback is that some puzzles included tiny text, but the hint book was well-crafted. The best part is that it consistently offers new surprises. Hats off to the designers!

This was fantastic!! A really great way to engage with your kids. It definitely presents a challenge. I did it with my 8 and 10-year-olds. They had some difficulty, but together we figured everything out. We looked forward to doing this every day. It wasn’t easy, and it required some creative thinking, but it wasn’t overly complicated. If you do find yourself struggling, you can opt for three clues, and if you’re still stuck, the answer is easy to find. I’m planning to purchase the other one, not as an advent calendar, but just for us to enjoy on a rainy day 🙂 Totally worth every penny!! Thank you to the brilliant minds behind this. It was a blast!!

This is the second year we’ve opted for this instead of a traditional advent calendar. We love the daily challenges it offers. It’s a wonderful activity for families, particularly those who appreciate cryptic puzzles. The product design is simply outstanding. Excellent value for money (I purchase enough for five of us). I absolutely love these! Every year, I get a different one for my family, and we enjoy solving the puzzles together. It’s a fantastic way to bond and a refreshing change from the usual chocolates. The puzzles are well-designed, thoughtfully crafted, and detailed, with a great story element. I wouldn’t recommend this for just one person or for kids/teens to tackle alone, as the puzzles and clues are trickier than they seem and require adult input. Some questions we solve quickly, while others stump us, and my husband and I often have to brainstorm together, which is all part of the fun! My son prefers the easier puzzles, and we always share our reasoning with him. He’s getting quite skilled at escape room challenges now and takes charge of entering the codes to unlock the next room. Overall, it’s a fantastic family activity (kids on their own might struggle), perfect for those who love a challenge and want an exciting Christmas adventure. I highly recommend it!
