My young daughter is crazy about arts and crafts, and as a passionate card maker myself, I knew she would love having her own stamps to use from my craft supplies. These stamps are well-crafted and easy for her to manage, producing clear images. Both my daughter and I appreciate the variety and quantity included in this set, which features 3 princess characters, a castle, horse, wand, carriage, shoe, and tiara, enabling her to create beautiful pictures. The ink pad has held up well despite frequent use. We clean the stamps with a baby wipe to remove any excess ink and then let them air dry. I believe these stamps will last a long time if taken care of and stored in the provided wooden box. It would have been nice for the box to have a lid to prevent the stamps from falling out or collecting dust, but this is a minor issue. Overall, this is an excellent set, and I was so impressed that I went on to purchase several other Melissa and Doug stamp sets.

This is an adorable little set. I really appreciated how nicely everything was organized in the box, and it would make a wonderful gift for a young child. However, it’s quite challenging for younger kids to have the strength needed to press down firmly for a clean image (unless we’re doing something incorrectly!). Additionally, some of the stamps have tiny splits at the edges from the cutting process. They’re fine for now, but I hope this won’t impact their usability in the long run, so I wanted to point that out. Overall, it’s a lovely set.

The ink pad has lasted well so far- despite rather a lot of use.

This is such a cute little set. I really liked how everything was laid out in the box, and it would make a great gift for a young child.
However, that being said, it is quite difficult for younger children in particular to have the strength required to press down on these in order to get a clean image (unless we are doing something wrong!).
Also, some of the stamps underneath have a very small split at the edges where they’ve been cut. Obviously fine at the moment but I hope that this won’t affect the use of them over time so wanted to mention this.

I think these sets are lovely. They are sturdy, come in a wooden box, so the children have got somewhere to tidy it back into and the added pencils are a great extension to the activity. I use mine as a teacher especially for story telling to spark their imagination and have had some great stories from the children. I have been so pleased with them that I have bought the dinosaur set and the transport set also and have used them as gifts for children aged 4-6. Great item well worth the money!
