My 9-year-old daughter has opened numerous mini brand mystery balls over the past couple of years, mostly the Disney ones, but we’ve also explored other sets. We even bought a collector case to keep them safe. She showed me a video of a new Netflix set, and I initially thought it would be exclusive to the U.S. However, a quick search on my favorite home shopping site revealed a 2-pack available for next-day delivery. With my daughter, wife, and me, there were only 2 shows we hadn’t watched, so we figured our chances of getting something we liked were good.
This set differs from others as it doesn’t have segmented parts; instead, it consists of a two-part ball with multiple blind bags inside. We took turns opening the bags and sharing our finds. Thankfully, we didn’t get any duplicates from the two balls and were able to snag the Cobra Kai items I wanted, plus a Squid Game mask as a bonus. Like most sets, some figures are rarer than others, and while we didn’t receive a scented item, we did get an ultra-rare piece.
In terms of longevity, once opened and inspected, there isn’t much left to do with them. They aren’t really playable, making them more of a collectible than a toy. I will definitely be buying more in the future, as we’re a family of collectors who love blind bags. Once again, a high-quality product from a reputable brand.
